We place a huge emphasis on patient education, to explain how the injury occurred in the first place. We will never see you for less than 30 minutes per appointment -- our goal is to get you off our treatment table and back to what you love to do, as soon as possible.

Part of this treatment plan includes active release techniques (ART), corrective exercises, manual therapy, joint mobilizations, acupuncture, athletic taping and modalities such as shockwave therapy. There is a relaxation component to this type of treatment as well, to help the body heal.

Sports Massage can be global or local massage, with focus on function. Due to the nature of the treatment, please wear attire appropriate for movement (i.e - men sport shorts, and women sports bra/tank top and shorts.) Some techniques used can be, facial stretching and rolling, cupping, muscle stripping, trigger point release.

Phillipe attended The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and graduated with honours in May 2018. He received the Sports Outreach Specialization Award, Hospital Placement Specialization, and took part in the Trimesters: Massage for Pregnancy Course.

Phillipe is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

Phillipe’s therapeutic experience and skill set is quite diversified. He uses a unique blend of Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Active Release & Myofascial Stretch/Release techniques, and Cupping Therapy to address a patient’s injuries or concerns.

My name is Martin and I am a registered Physiotherapist. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from Sheridan College in Brampton, and a Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Scotland.

Throughout my career I have gained experience working with individuals facing variety of neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and catering to people from diverse backgrounds and levels of performance and competition, including runners, weightlifters, and CrossFit athletes.

My treatment approach emphasizes on best evidence practice, client centred care, thorough assessment and diagnostic skills, alongside tailored exercise prescription, strong manual therapy/hands on approach and client education.
